Welcome to the website for the Comprehensive Community Development Model (CCDM).  With your help, this model will become a planning tool intended to spark economic development and community revitalization in four Ward 7 neighborhoods including: Deanwood, Lincoln Heights, Richardson Dwellings and Capitol View. Driven by a network of residents and stakeholders from these communities, the CCDM serves as a guide for addressing community concerns related to: Health & Wellness, Housing, Economic & Workforce Development and Youth Development.  Sub-committees, for each of these issue areas, made up of your neighbors and local stakeholders, have been hard at work drafting vision statements along with associated recommendations.   We would also like to get your feedback on Public Safety in this community. A page has been designed where you can provide responses to questions on Public Safety.  To ensure our final document reflects the sentiment of this community, we need your input. We are asking you to let us know if we got it right.  Tell us what we missed. Is there more you would like us to add?  Finally, we have included a page on our creative placemaking project.  CreativeJunkFood, (CJF) a locally-based multi-media studio was competitively funded to augment the CCDM.  CJF has been able to work directly with the community, while socially distancing, to vision, plan, design and implement three art installations, entitled .  For more information on this project go to: http://www.creativejunkfood.com/ward7placemaking/.
