What is Public Life?

Public life is the connections people make with each other in public space - outside their homes, workplaces, and cars. Public life is a critical part of the human environment, impacting our health and the way we relate to our surroundings. It is where culture is incubated and shared. To encourage public life, we conduct a Public Life Study to directly observe and analyze human behavior in our shared community spaces, using this information to recommend improvements to a space.
